Change is a comein

No I am NOT running for president I'm just making a HUGE turn in my everyday life. For the last months we have been tossing around the notion that I will head back to work. Well the time for me to get a job as a teacher is NOW!! Over the last month I have worked on resume, job applications, and oh not to mention I started subbing regularly at Keaton's school. The ball has been rolling. 3 weeks ago I had a job interview and tomorrow will hopefully find out the outcome. The journey to gaining employment has not been without bumps that's for sure. I had no idea that things could be done so poorly during the hiring process but apparently it can as I have witnessed it first hand. I wont get into details as it just make me angry. I will say that tonight's the School Board meeting and I find out whether they will add my position or not. I am conflicted both ways as I want the job as I am not one who likes to not come out on top of whatever I'm doing, yet part of me doesn't want the job as I know it will change our lives as we know it forever. I wont lie a part of me is excited to get back out there and do what I'm good at however it's really hard to overlook that I have a beautiful 2 year old who I can't stand to leave with anyone else. So soon I will know my gate and may be asking all my working mommy friends for support as I will be setting off on a journey that will be heart wrenching for me and Aiden. More to come.....
