The boys are Campin!!

So have to do a quick post since my heart is just so full right now it could explode so might as well let it explode into words right!! Right now my 2 oldest and my wonderful husband are laying in their tent in the back yard talking about the favorite part of their day, yes you read that right in our backyard in a tent. For sometime Ben has said he couldn't wait to take the kids camping and 2 of the 3 are finally at an age where that's possible. Before he headed to the great mountains with 2 boys and a tent he wanted to try it out first and what better place than our BACKYARD!! He went out earlier today and got some new sleeping bags, a new fire pit/charcoal grill and stuff for smores and he and the boys were so excited about it getting dark and camping out. Of course around 6ish a terrible storm with crazy rain and wind blew in and tried to detour the whole plan but the boys are lucky enough to have a daddy who was a boy scout and a little rain wasn't changing his plans. Luckily the rain passed and the night continued on with out a hitch. Ben was doing this with or without the rain so thankfully it was without the rain as the night was fantastic. The boys set up the tent with dad, started the fire, roasted mellows and made smores. They had fun walking around the backyard with flashlights and looked for bugs and making shadows. It's now almost 10:30 pm and I just left them all tucked in their bags in the tent talking about the favorite part of their day, like they do each night before bed. I truly am blessed to have such a wonderful family that gets to do such fun stuff. I hope that these times and memories will be treasured by the boys as they truly are treasured my me. Like I said my heart is so full of love right now for ALL my BOYS. Oh, by the way I am truly the queen as I was told I was not allowed in the tent but I could sleep in my house in my cozy bed cuz I am a GIRL!! Boy, oh Boy!!
